Dorothy Delores Marcus

Dorothy Delores Marcus ,79, of Florence passed away into God’s loving and eternal care suddenly on Wednesday February 24,2021 at Virtua Hospital Willingboro.
Born in Old Harbor Bay, Jamaica and raised in Kingston Jamaica she lived in Florence with her daughter.
Educated at Saint Simon School and at the Alpha Academy, Dorothy was a hard worker as a switchboard operator at Dell publishing, as a behavioral tech at Mediplex Rehab and as a live-in nurse for Family Choice.
Predeceased by her husband David Marcus and her son Monsontez Miles, she is survived by her children Davida Marcus, Arnoldo Miles, Marlon Miles, Carlos Miles (Gwen Howerton) and Ceon Miles and her 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings Keith Sturridge , Beverly Price, Leroy Simpson (Sybil), Dennis Simpson (Wendy) and Eunice Hawthorne and a special friend Sebastian Keene as well as extended family and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday March 13,2021 at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front Street, Florence where a walkthrough viewing will be held from 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment to follow in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. In Lieu of flowers donations in Dorothy’s memory may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
