Sylvia M. Bocci

Sylvia M. Durham Bocci, age 85 of Burlington, NJ, passed away into God's loving and eternal care on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. She was married to the love of her life Richard Bocci, who recently passed, for over 65 years. She was a secretary before adopting her daughter and then stayed at home to care for her and tend the home. She was very close to her family, especially her sisters, and absolutely loved all children frequently hosting her daughter's friends or giving to children at the church. She was an involved mother, always supportive and encouraging, volunteering her time in the Methodist Church, Girl Scouts, and her daughter's other pursuits. She loved reading books and baking, and was very generous, always giving to others, whether vegetables from her husband's garden or making cakes for people as a gift "just because". She loved to dine out and travel with friends, and dance at weddings.

She is survived by her daughter Candace Bocci, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Dennison-McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, where a walkthrough viewing with social distancing and masks protocols will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service. Interment to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington
