Holly M. Hilferty (nee Cox),51, of Edgewater Park passed away into God’s loving and eternal care on Sunday January 17,2021 at the University of Penn Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton she was raised in the Florence/Burlington area and settled in Edgewater park to raise her family.
Holly worked at Scholastic Books in Cranbury as a customer service agent for many years. She was a parishioner, lector and eucharistic minister at St. Joseph’s Church in Beverly. She enjoyed country western dancing was very caring and helped anyone she could. Holly was involved in her children’s school at St. Paul’s and ran the bingo games for them She could be found watching her kids playing sports on the sidelines.
Predeceased by her mother Evelyn Turocy and stepmother Lucille Cox, she is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Thomas J. Hilferty Jr. and her children Timothy and Paige Hilferty. She also leaves behind her father Harold Cox; her brother David Cox: her mother-in-law Joanne Keefe and father-in - law Thomas J. Hilferty Sr. as well as extended family and dear friends.
A walkthrough viewing with social distancing protocols will be held on Friday January 22,2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM at the Dennison Funeral Home 214 W. Front Street, Florence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 23,2021 at St. Joseph’s Church 805 Warren Street, Beverly.
