A Florence resident all her life, Phyllis grew up on West 3rd Street and as a girl had a pony, Starlight, and a terrier, Tiny. Second in her graduating class of '52, she married her high school sweetheart, Bob, at age 18 and they had 66 wonderful years together. She was his girl. Being a good wife and mother meant a lot to her, it's the unconditional love she longed for. And finding a loving God like Jehovah and the truth in the Bible about the good news of God's Kingdom and a future earthly resurrection completedher. It's what she believed and lived for these last 55 years and told others about. Phyllis will be missed by both Burlington and Mt. Holly congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses. She lived her life loving everyone and earlier that week thanking them for comingto see her in Samaritan Hospice at Virtua Mt. Holly, the most caring nurses and staff you could ask for. She will be dearly missed by all whose life she touched.
