Marion Voda of Burlington (formerly of Lumberton) passed away in to God’s loving and eternal care Saturday December 16,2017 at her daughter and son -in -law’s home. She was 88.
Born and raised in Mt. Holly, she lived in Burlington, Southampton and 23 years in Florence before moving to Lumberton in 2001.
Marion was a supervisor inspector for Burlington Safety Labs in Burlington before retiring in 2001 after 28 years of service. She formerly attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mt. Holly and was a member the Happy Travelers Club. Some of her interests in life were bingo, attending dinner theaters, and she was an avid reader.
Wife of the late Julius, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Maryann and Joseph Southwick; and sister -in- law Marie Johnson and brother-in -law Stanley Voda as well as a nephew Joseph Johnson (Robin) and niece Sandra Voda.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM at All Saints Church 502 High Street Burlington where relatives and friends may visit from 930 AM until the time of the mass. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery Burlington. Memorial Donations may be made in Marion’s name to Acacia Hospice.902 Jacksonville Road Burlington.
