Amelia Frenz of Burlington passed away into God’s loving and eternal care Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at home, surrounded by her family. She was 91.
Born and raised in New York City, she moved to North Jersey before moving to Burlington in 1968.
Amelia was a retired sales associate for the former Gregory’s Department Store in Burlington. Some of her interests in life were bowling, sewing, traveling, and art painting. She also loved to read and do crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Walter Frenz Sr., and a son, Mark Frenz.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula M. Dreher and Laura A. Cahill; her son, Walter R. Frenz Jr.; her sister-inlaw, Barbara Pronko (the late Paul); a niece, Susan Pronko; a nephew, Paul Pronko; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Dennison-McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, where relatives and friends may visit with the family from 2 to 3 p.m. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
