Doris M. (LeMunyon) Scott of Roebling passed away into God’s loving and eternal care Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mount Holly. She was 93.
Born in Florence, she lived in Roebling all of her life. Doris was a retired seamstress and supervisor for the Mode Craft Company in Burlington.
She enjoyed gardening in her earlier years and was a member, past president, and former treasurer of the Good Neighbor Senior Citizens Club of Florence.
Doris was a skilled seamstress and did clothing alterations for many people over the years. She made clothing apparel for family and friends, including her grandchildren’s winter coats.
Beloved wife of the late Stanley W. Scott Sr., she was the devoted mother of Doris Dann (the late Gene), Stanley W. Scott Jr. (Frances), William F. Scott, and Robert H. Scott. She is survived by a brother, Gordon LeMunyon; 18 grandchildren; 24 greatgrandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front Street, Florence, where relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
