Kathleen (Prisco) Spencer of Edgewater Park passed away into God’s loving and eternal care Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at home. She was 67.
Born in Riverside and raised in Delanco, Kathy lived in Edgewater Park for nearly 50 years. She retired four years ago as a secretary for St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Beverly after 22 years of service. She was also a longtime member of the Beverly Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed sewing and making baby items, afghans, and clothing items. and doing alterations for many people. She also loved crocheting and home decorating. For many years, up to the present time, Kathy decorated all her family members’ graves for all the holidays.
Daughter of the late Henry Prisco and Jean Randall Shedaker, and step-daughter of the late Jacques Shedaker, she is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Spencer; her son, Steven Spencer of Delanco: her sister, Jacqueline Camp of Ventnor, and her brother, James Shedaker (Sharon) of Burlington Township, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Dennison-McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
