Obituary for Leslie Reamer Jr.

Leslie O. “Les” Reamer Jr. of Florence passed away into God’s loving and eternal care on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at home. He was 87.
Born in Mount Holly, he lived in Florence most of his life. Mr. Reamer retired in 1994 as a supervisor for the N.J. Bell Telephone Company in Burlington after 40+ years of service.
A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served aboard the U.S.S. Bennington.
He was a dedicated family man and a member of Burlington Masonic Lodge #32, F&AM.
He loved listening to music, shooting pool, working on the Hamilton family farm, gardening and working in his yard. He was also very fond of dogs.
Husband for 65 years of the late Mildred Hamilton Reamer, he is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Hamilton of Florence.
The funeral will held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front Street, Florence, where relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Masonic services will be held during this time. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence.
