Mildred A. Reamer of Florence passed away into God's loving and eternal care Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at home, four days short of her 86th birthday.
Born in Florence, she was a lifelong resident. Mildred was a homemaker but in her earlier years worked as a meat wrapper for the former A&P Store in Burlington. She was a longtime member of the Florence United Methodist Church and liked doing yard work and also farming in her younger years. She also enjoyed watching tv and communicating with others on the telephone.
Daughter of the late Leon and Helen Nixon Hamilton, and sister of the late Elizabeth Wilson, Leon Hamilton, Doris Skeenes and Carol Lee, she is survived by her husband of 66 years, Leslie O. Reamer; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 5, at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front Street, Florence, where relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence.
