Constance A. Denney of Delran passed away into God's loving and eternal care Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Cinnaminson Manor Nursing Home. She was 96.
Born in South Plainfield, she lived in California and Oklahoma before moving to the Cinnaminson area 56 years ago.
Mrs. Denney was a retired seamstress for the former Peerless Clothing Company in Mt. Laurel, where she worked for many years.
Some of her interests in life were doing ceramics, boating, and visiting both Disneyland and Disney World many times over the years. She was also an avid NASCAR fan. A skilled seamstress, she enjoyed making many items of clothing for her family and friends.
Wife of the late Harold A. Denney, and mother of the late Ronald Charles Jareski and the late Debra Griffith, she is survived by her daughter, Beverley Lubrano (Nick) of Florence; and her sons, John Denney (Maureen) of Massachusetts, Allen Denney (Caroline) of Southampton and David Denney (Dawn) of Delran; and her sister, Sunnee Wadiak (Edward) of Toms River. She also is survived by 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service 7:30 p.m. Friday, at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front Street, Florence. Viewing time will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Private entombment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover will be held at a later date.
