Obituary for Dawn Zappacosta
Dawn M. Zappacosta of Southampton passed away into God's loving and eternal care on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. She was 56.
Born in Mount Holly, she lived in Florence for many years and in Southampton for the last 25 years.
Dawn formerly worked as an administrative assistant for 20 years at the former Land O' Lakes Company in Florence.
Some of her interests in life were fishing and camping. She was a member of the North American Fishing Club.
Dawn is survived by her life partner of 38 years, John Gebely III; her sisters, Donna Vivian (Donald) of Bordentown and Denise Paykos (the late Dana) of Roebling; and her aunt, Louise Grieve of Reading, Pa. She also is survived by her nieces, Alisa Paykos Theurer (Mark) and Marissa Paykos Young (James) and their children, Noah, Dana and Wyatt Theurer and Ellie Young, and her beloved furry pet dog, Jack.
Her funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
